Meet Our Team

VICKY – OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT

My favorite part of my day is working with our patients, helping them understand what we do, how we do it, and why it’s important, and then watching their faces as their mouth reaches its healthiest state. I enjoy interacting with people and have fun with everyone who walks through our door. I’m responsible for all aspects of running the front office, to ensure that our patients receive the ideal treatment for their individual needs.

This is a practice that is devoted to compassionate, gentle care, and we always emphasize patient education in all our discussions, so each person has a clear understanding of what’s happening, what to expect, and what the results will be.

My husband Mike and I have been married since 1990.  Our son, Phillip, graduated in 2016 from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.  He is currently working in Anaheim Hills at Parsec Automatic Corporation as a Computer Programer and Engineer. We also have a Dachshund/Min Pin dog, Jade, who keeps us entertained while running the house. I enjoy cooking, gardening, decorating, and country music. I’ve also been involved with Boy Scouts of America since 2002 and am proud that both my son and my nephew are Eagle Scouts. Currently my husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law, are the Charter Organization for Boy Scout Troop 1999 in Garden Grove.

JUDY – FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR

Every day I interact with fascinating individuals from diverse backgrounds, and learn about their experiences and interests. There is no such thing as a dull conversation, and I love the relationships that develop during each person’s time in our care.

With my background as teacher, curriculum director, and elementary principal, I am able to assist patients in understanding their clinical needs and how the procedures we offer will put them on the path to restored oral health. When they realize we are genuinely concerned about them as a whole person, and want to help them, you can see the relief in their faces. They know they’ve come to the right practice for their periodontal needs.

Outside of work, my favorite times are activities with my grandsons, Rorke & Ronan. I also love traveling, playing tennis, listening to jazz, and losing myself in a good book.

JANET – REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT

My goal is that every patient I interact with experiences the most beneficial oral care.

I truly enjoy connecting with patients, and it transcends when I see the over all results of a healthy beautiful smile.

I have been Dr. Chrispens chair side surgical assistant for over 10 years and look forward to continuously learning and growing.

I studied Dental Assisting in Woodland Hills, CA and moved to Orange County in 1998. In 2002, I earned my RDA license and enjoy working in Perio and Oral Surgery.

Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family and raising 3 children and a french bulldog.

LAURA- REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENISTS

With 29 years of dental experience, Laura is a valued Registered Dental Hygienists. She started her career as a Certified Dental Assistant earning her Associates Degree from Truckee Meadows Community College. She went on to became a Registered Dental Assistant, practicing for 5 years in that capacity. She decided to continue her education and earned her Hygiene Degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. She has been a hygienist for the past 24 years. “ I love getting to know my patients and really enjoy working in Periodontal Dentistry, which I have specialized in for the past 16 years. I enjoy hearing about my patients wants, needs and concerns and educating and encouraging them to a healthier oral condition.”

She grew up in Reno, Nevada with her 4 sisters and a brother, several who still reside there along with her parents. Laura has 2 boys that keep her busy after work with their many activities. She enjoys Scrapbooking and exploring new places with her friends.
